Russel C. Robertson Interim Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group Russel C. Robertson was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer, BMO Financial Group on March 5, 2008. Russel joins BMO from Deloitte and Touche LLP in Toronto where he served as Vice-Chairman since 2002. Russel began his career in 1969 with Arthur Andersen LLP in Toronto and held a number of increasingly senior roles in that company including Canadian Managing Partner. He is an experienced audit partner with extensive financial services experience. Most recently at Deloitte and Touche he was lead client service partner for BMO Financial Group . Russel is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant (FCA). Over the years, Russel has been involved with a variety of educational, community and arts organizations from Shulich School of Business to Junior Achievement and the National Ballet of Canada. Most recently, he has been involved in raising money for the mechanical heart program at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at Toronto General Hospital. (March 2008)
